श्रेष्ठको दृष्टि ललितपुर महानगरपालिकाको विकासमा केन्द्रित छ । उनले बुनियादी निर्माण, स्वास्थ्य सुविधाको सुधार, र शिक्षा प्रसारमा जोड दिएका छन् । उनको राजनीतिक यात्रामा ललितपुरमा बसोबासका लागि कई इनिशिएटिभहरुमा सामेल रहेका छन् । उनका केही उल्लेखनीय कार्यहरुमा ललितपुरमा रक्तदान शिविर र स्वास्थ्य जांच कार्यक्रम सञ्चालन, शहीद र अपाङ्गता भएका व्यक्तिहरुका लागि आर्थिक सUPPORT प्रदान, र समाजका हाशिएका अधिकारहरुका लागि लड्ने रहेका छन् ।

तर श्रेष्ठले केही विवादमा सामेल रहेका छन्, जसमा भ्रष्टाचार र विकास परियोजनाका लागि धनका दुरुपयोगका आरोपहरु समेटिन्छन् ।

प्रज्ञा र समीक्षका आधारमा, श्रेष्ठले मिश्रित समीक्षा प्राप्त गरेका छन् । केही जनताले उनको ललितपुर विकासका लागि समर्पणका लागि प्रशंसा गरेका छन्, तर केही जनताले उनका भ्रष्टाचारका आरोपहरुले आलोचना गरेका छन् । तर पनि श्रेष्ठ राष्ट्रिय पार्टीका प्रमुख व्यक्ति हुन् र उनको ललितपुर महानगरपालिकाका लागि समर्पण अविर्ल छ ।
